The polls did not fail, but that's not the highlight of U.S. election day.
Finally, the Democrats lost the House of Representatives, the most positive day for the president was to keep the Senate, for the mini, after losing all the advantage he had. After hearing the Democratic defeat, the Nobel Peace Prize stated that it was time to agree and work closely with Republicans.
No doubt this is a huge setback for the White House, which loses much of the legislature and are truncated and their expectation of great social reforms in the country, which can be a major setback ahead of the election.
We all remember that when Barack Obama received the Nobel Prize was conceived as a call to action to begin to act, but far from that, you run into a situation that none of its major reforms could be carried out due to poor global economic situation and the high state investment required for these reforms. At present, the great hopes placed on the image of Democratic leader remain in vague allusions to what could be and never will now post the society.
We must remember, on this day post-election who was the big winner, focusing on a specific sector within the Republican Party, the "Tea Party" which was released when I lift Obama for president, and only two years become a political entity rather to consider for the next elections. This ultra-conservative movement managed to make the most of the current situation and gain a foothold in the tight U.S. political climate.
